Miami SWCD Board of Supervisors Elections has started!
The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Miami Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code. Individuals who own or occupy land within the Miami Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age or older may vote for Supervisor.

There are three (3) ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot:

1.) At the Miami SWCD office, 1330 N County Road 25A; Ste. C, Troy, Ohio, from August 9, 2023 to September 7, 2023 during normal business hours from 8am to Noon & 1pm to 5pm; or

2.) At the SWCD Annual Meeting, which will take place at Duke Lundgard Building on the Miami County Fairgrounds on September 7^th from 5:30pm to 7pm ; or

3.) Voting absentee from begins August 9, 2023 by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the SWCD office at the following address 1330 N County Road 25A; Ste. C, Troy, Ohio 45373, by calling 937-335-7645, or email info@miamiswcd.org. Absentee ballots must be received by the Miami SWCD office by 4pm, September 7, 2023.

Two (2) Supervisors will be elected to a three‐year term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2026.
